Cookie Cook Off

Brodie, Kayla, Abby and Mattia made a Business plan to start there own business for a high school project.  They called it “Classic Cookies”  The idea is to work as a team, plan their own business from the very beginning : create a product name, choose a menu, shop for the ingredients, produce the food item, package the food item attractively for sale, making the ingredient tags, and pricing their item and then offering them for sale on Market Day. They managed to make a profit of $300 after costs were deducted and of course they were delighted.  The girls used the Belmont Services kitchen facilities for their high school project.  It is great to see that our club can be used for the education of the new generation – and yes! they left our kitchen immaculate.
