Application for membership at Belmont Services Bowls Club
Please find attached a .pdf copy of the club’s membership application form. Please download and print the form. Complete the application details and take it to the club office for a proposer and seconder who will complete the application. The club secretary would then contact you with further information depending on your bowls experience or coaching needs.
Barefoot bowls is a great activity for work functions, birthday parties or a fun day out with your mates. Enjoy a drink in the air-conditioned bar after your game.

Social Bowls
Our club hosts social bowls Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons from 12:30pm and Sunday pairs from 9am.
On the second Monday of each month we have a Monday Mega pairs open event from 12 noon.
Ladies day is Tuesday and Men’s on Thursday.
Mixed social is Friday and Saturday.

There is a competitive game for lawn bowlers of every level. Our club participates in inter-club competitions throughout the year, including elite bowling of the Premier League, Gateway District Pennants as well as GR8s and other District competitions.
In recent years the club has achieved exceptional results, including winning the State Pennant title in 2020 and the District First Division Pennant in both 2020 and 2021. In 2020 our club also won the Gateway Division 8 Pennant.
Ladies Club
Belmont Services Bowls Club boasts a thriving and friendly ladies club; Belmont Services Ladies Bowling Club. We play ladies social bowls every Tuesday and you are welcome to play mixed bowls on other days in conjunction with the main club. On Tuesdays, teams are club selected and we aim to move our bowlers around so they have a variety of bowling partners each week. Morning tea is served at 8:30am and bowls commence by 9:30am. To assist our selectors, it is recommended you arrive for a game before 8:45am. Our day includes lunch and concludes around 1:30pm.
Ladies triples (self selected) are held on the third Wednesday of each month, except January and December. Games are three-bowl triples and we always have a number of visiting teams to ensure full greens and great competition. Prizes are awarded for winners and runners-up and there are mystery prizes. Morning tea and lunch are included and we have some generous raffles.
Club competitions are held throughout the year and we participate in district competitions through Gateway District Ladies Bowls Association, including the annual Pennant competition.
