Function Space For Hire – The ‘Hibiscus Room’
The Hibiscus Room is our spacious air-conditioned function room; ideal for weddings, birthdays, Christmas parties, wakes, award nights, trade shows, charity nights, training sessions etc. The layout of tables and chairs are customised to your needs and the space is available for hire both day and night for exclusive use with no minimum spend bar requirements.
The Hibiscus Room has a maximum capacity of 200 guests. We can also reserve space in our bar area for small events.
The room features a stage and dance floor and has access to bathroom facilities and the bar area. The 142 square meter parquetry dance floor is highly regarded among musicians for its acoustics; making it a perfect space for dance clubs or regular dance lessons.
Our on-site restaurant, Souvlaki Time, may be available to cater your event. Please contact them directly to enquire about availability, menu options, and pricing. Alternatively, you are welcome to arrange your own external caterer or bring your own food. An annex adjoining the kitchen is available for storage and there is a fridge for storing cakes or food prior to your event. Please note that there is no access to the commercial kitchen for cooking, reheating, food preparation, or washing dishes.
Use of the club’s crockery and cutlery is available for an additional fee discussed via Souvlaki Time. If you are using an external caterer, we ask that they contact the club prior to your event to discuss access arrangements and venue requirements.
All beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, must be purchased from the bar, by way of either a bar tab or cash bar. Tea and coffee facilities are also available for an additional fee and, with prior notice, we can accommodate special drink requests.
You are welcome to decorate or bring in stylists prior to your event at no extra charge. We ask that you do not adhere your decorations with nails, tape, staples or blue tack that might damage surfaces. Glitter and confetti (including inside balloons) are not permitted. Please discuss set up and departure times with our Functions Manager.
Tablecloths and chair covers can be provided for an additional fee.
We provide, at no cost, media equipment including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi access, lectern, projector, screen and cordless microphones. You are welcome to visit us beforehand to test equipment prior to your event.

Bar
Our air-conditioned bar is open to the public and is stocked with a range of beers, wines, spirits, juice and soft drinks. Selected cocktails are also available. For small events we can book a reserved space in the bar area with both a bar tab or cash bar options available for guests.

Parking
We have a 64 space carpark (including 6 disabled spots). The entrance is off Narracottt Street, opposite the Carindale PCYC.
There is also ample overflow street parking on Narracott and Thorne Streets, which borders the club property.
